MARTHA STEWART LOST $1 BILLION WHEN SHE WENT UP THE RIVER . . . BUT WE ALL SUFFERED BECAUSE OF IT!!!
This country is in a financial tailspin. But it might not have been so bad if we didn't send MARTHA STEWART to prison for insider trading. (???)
--In an interview on last night's "Nightline", Martha estimated that she lost A COOL BILLION during her five months behind bars. (--She did a total of 10 months, but the last five were under house arrest.)
--But it turns out we ALL suffered when Martha lost that cash. She said, quote, "When you are prosecuted in such a way, and a great portion of wealth is dissipated, all I can think so much is what I could have done with all that, and for the good of mankind, and I hope I can continue."
