Born and raised in Cranston and where she currently resides and which she believes, to be the "best city in the world" Jessica graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Communication Studies.  She quickly learned that in order to have a future in radio, she’d need to pronounce her R’s and lose the Rhode Island phrases "Not for nuttin'" and "Did ja eat yet?"

While at RIC, Jessica interned at 92 PRO-FM where she knew she eventually wanted to work. "I liked the idea of the magic of radio, theater of the mind... and anything to not have to dress up."

In April of 2007 she was hired for mid-days on PRO-FM, where she has her daily features, the Text Time Quiz & the Drive Thru Lunch.
